A Physical random number generator based on quantum effect, with bit-rate up to 68Mbps, and easily scalable to higher bit-rates. Random bits are delivered either on-demand through coaxial output and trigger input or digitally through USB 2.0 connection.

The new Quantum Random Number generator by MPD is based on the intrinsic statistical behaviour of a quantum detector that is ignited by electron-hole pairs generation within a semiconductor, following a Poisson distribution. Such triggerings are then used to extract random numbers by means of our patent pending method.

Random bits are delivered either on-demand through coaxial output and trigger input or digitally through USB 2.0 connection.
